Northeast Arkansas a Buyers Market?

When other areas of the US seem to be having trouble with their housing market, there maybe good news for Northeast Arkansas.

Don Culpepper, of the Northeast Arkansas Homebuilders Association, when talking about the housing market for Arkansas he stated “we are not like the Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Florida markets that are kind of in a bust situation right now. In fact, I was just talking to a banker today. The 30 year fixed rate is 6 percent. That is phenomenal. It’s still a great time to do it.” Culpepper also stated that areas of Northeast Arkansas never got into a housing bubble like Jonesboro. Also stating that there is still great value and good investments in this area.

Builder Brittany Ragsdale is showcasing new homes between October 26th and October 28th. Stating “We really try to build homes that are different. We try to incorporate a lot of extras into our homes, such as bringing the outdoors in.”
