Mortgage Company, Real Estate Agency Merge in Tennessee

Dennis and Kathleen Young have been a terrific team for years as husband and wife. Now they’ve formed a second union in business on Providence Boulevard, in Clarksville, Tenn.

Across the highway from the fast-food restaurant, Bojangles’, the Youngs have merged their 1st American Equity and 1st American Realty firms into a single location.

“For licensing purposes, my wife, Kathleen, owns the home mortgage company, and I’m the real estate broker,” Dennis Young said.

“The point of this merger is to help save our clients some of their hard-earned dollars, their precious time, and to avoid the aggravation that can come from dealing with a dozen different people to accomplish one goal.”

Services there include residential real estate listings and home sales through the Clarksville Regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS), commercial real estate sales and home and commercial mortgages and mortgage pre-approval.

The Tennessee home mortgage company also specializes in down-payment assistance, home warranty, notary service and more.

“Reasonable real estate commissions and finding the lowest mortgage rates available for each buyer are the two biggest factors we use to save customers money,” Young said.
